Portsea is a uniform, semi-erect spinach for babyleaf. It has a thick, dark green, oval-shaped leaf which is slightly cupped. A cool season variety, performing best in autumn and spring, but a winter crop in states such as Queensland. It is mid-late maturing with good uniformity. Portsea is a high yielding variety and has resistance to Downy Mildew
