Juncus usitatus is native to Australia. Grows densely tufted, rhizomatous perennial and found commonly along the waterways. Produces pale brown flowers in spring and provides valuable wildlife habitat. Suitable for ponds to handle dams or will grow in where else in the garden that has free draining soil.
