This species is ideal for ground cover, garden borders and landscaping. Oenothera speciosa is produces soft pink fragrant blooms that open throughout the day and release a strong perfume at night.
Especially suited to hot, dry sites with well-drained soil. Very drought tolerant once established. A short- lived perennial, but plants will self-seed.
